Q1: What are the properties of inductor?

A1: Inductors are length of wire twisted forms. It induces voltage in the element when alternative current is aloowed through. Properties of inductor are

• It does not allow any sudden changes in the current
• It acts as short circuit if DC supply is provided
• Pure inductor’s internal resistance is zero that measn it is a non dissiopative element
• It stores the energy in magnetic field form
Q2: What are the different types of elements?
A2: Different types of elements are,
– Active and Passive (example: voltage, R,L,C)
– Unilateral and Bilateral (example: Diode, transistor, R)
– Linear and Non linear (example: R, L, C)
– Lumped and distributed (example: cable wire, R, L, C in lab)
