West Indies added Alzarri Joseph to squad for 2nd Test

West Indies added Alzarri Joseph ,The 19-year old pacer to West Indies squad of 14-member for the second Test against India to be played at Kingston from July 30.Earlier this year in Under-19 World Cup Joseph played key performance for West Indies taking 13 wickets in six matches and also picked 24 wickets in 8 First-Class matches for Leewards Islands,with the best figures of 7 for 46.

“Earlier in the ICC under-19 World Cup We feel that Alzarri, who cause the attack so expertly,will now benefit from the professional guidance of our coaching staffAs we develop our Test team, we see this as a optimistic step in the process. ” -Browne (chairman of West Indies selection panel )

In the first of the four-match Test series West Indies were lashed by an innings and 92 runs in Antigua would look to give some tough competition in the second clash.Joseph in the squad made west indies strong pace attack.
